HI! Welcome to my site, Cupcake Kid Cafe!

My name is Rachel and when I was 6 years old I asked my Mom to start a site for me – I begged for over a year and she finally did it for me!

I love to cook and wanted a place where I can talk to other kids who love to cook too. I hope to share recipes, videos and great resources for kids like us. My mom and dad will help me with some of the posts I make, but most of the work will come from me (like typing this bio!)!

I live in NJ with my mom and dad, 2 dogs, 2 bunnies and lots of fish. I love to swim and love science – and most of all I love to cook.

I hope you like my site and hope you come back often to see what it new. Please email me and send me your favorite recipes and videos of you cooking – that will be lots of fun to see how we are all cooking and what our favorite recipes are.

From Rachel’s Mom!

Hi I am Jill and I am Rachel’s Mom. Rachel had been asking me about starting a website for a long time and I finally gave in! Rachel has loved to cook for as long as I can remember and has been taking cooking classes at Young Chef’s Academy for over a year now.

When she came to me about starting a site about cooking I did a little research and found that there are not a lot of great sites for kids who love to cook. We decided it would be fun to have a place where all the kids who love to cook can meet and hangout online.

Although I help Rachel with some of the posts – most of what is on the site is all her doing.
